Achieving success in the music industry has always held its difficulties. On the verge of making it into the music game, some artists allow the industry to get the best of them. Today has become the era of indie artists where the likes of your success is in the hands of your personal hard work. Humble beings have always been within B ~ Stack$, who is without a doubt a “Product of the South”.
Born Sandy Ledbetter in 1990, on the South side of Durham, North Carolina, this 22-year-old multi-talented MC, songwriter, and producer has learned all about hard work at a very early age and due to his hard work he is an artist under Faculty Entertainment brand, as well as president of the company. The goal of this talented rapper is becoming a pioneer within the music industry while leaving a legacy that will be remembered many years after he is gone.
With this type of mindset, there is nothing that this thriving and talented artist cannot accomplish.
In the early stages of his career he connected with DJ Folk, someone who has a lot of industry affiliations that was able to open some doors that were previously closed and from there he worked with some of the hottest musical producers who had already established a name for themselves with working with other successful artists.
In 2013, B. Stacks will release his Root of All Evil mixtape, Root of All Evil (R.O.A.E.) which is hosted by Don Cannon with productions by multi-platinum producer Black Jeruz, Gotti, Sunrize, Los Corleone, Gave Beatz & Don Cannon as well.
From production to the fans this southern native gives 100% in whatever he does.
This project features a more creative and lyrical side of B Stacks that some have never seen before. “With this mixtape, I recorded it more in an album format with all original music and production. So I took my time with it, and I got up with different producers, and we would build from scratch. I didn’t try to make my music according to what’s going on now industry wise. I just made music according to the feeling and how I wanted to do it”, stated B Stacks.
It is obvious that his grind is real because he has already begun the first round of production on his Root of All Evil Vol. 2 and has already assembled top notch producers that will consist of Don Cannon, Keno Crew Night Rydas, D Rich and many more so it’s safe to say that he’s not letting off the gas anytime soon.
If dedication and hard work is what an artist needs to make it in the rap game, then this MC has all the ingredients to being successful in this industry.
